What makes a story addicting?

So my life is going boringly. I'm a bit depressed right now, but I'll probably get out of it eventually. One more encounter with my insane friend will probably do it. . .

I started high school. Big place. I keep getting lost, and the desks are too small. It's hard to take notes and draw at the same time. Homework is annoying, but umpty math is evil. We finish an entire textbook by Chistmas, so I can take AP Calc next year. . .yay. . .ugh.

Anyways, what's the best kind of hard colored pencil? Prismacolor is too soft and I can't do much detail. Help?

So my scanner is broken, and I suck at digital art. So I'll be dead until further notice.
